About Bonne Terre, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Bonne Terre is a town with a history. What is now a sleepy, Midwestern town was once home to the richest lead ore in the world. It was, and still is, a remarkable place. The French revealed lead in Bonne Terre in 1720. That is where the name of the town originated. The French settlers called it “La Terre Bonne.” It meant “Good Earth” and the name could not have been more suiting. The settlers braved harsh winters and hot summers as they lived and prospered off of the mineral riches that they had found.
Since that time, it has become a community of honest American folks who are happy to live, work and play in the Midwest. Whether that Earth is bursting with flowers and grass in the spring or icy and covered in the snow in the winter, it has been good earth for many people over the generations. People here are friendly, happy and welcoming. The community spirit is undeniable and the family-friendly atmosphere allows for a small town feeling that everyone loves.
The town has parks, a pool, a baseball diamond and many other top-notch facilities. Because the weather is seasonal, the pool is only open during the warm months. However, it is the perfect way to cool off when it is hot outside. There is a $1 admission fee, as well. Amenities at Lakeview Park include a pavilion, a lighted walking path, several docks fishing, loading ramp for small boats, playground equipment and more. It is the perfect small town park. Kids and adults alike love spending time there, no matter what the season.
